Counting every moment, counting every day,

I waited just to catch a glimpse of your sacred face.

You were the only one in my dreams,

Yet you still haven't come, you haven't wiped away my tears!


From the very first days I can remember,

You came along as a companion in every game;

My dear friend who built a golden nest in my heart,

Have you truly forgotten me, a poor soul?


I placed you upon the shores of love

In the middle of life's journey;

And you, along that passing path,

Walked away, turning me into a mere stranger.


In this world, hopes hold no value,

Love has no worth today;

If you have wealth and status, anyone can be pawned away...


Still, I search for your footprints

Along the lonely pathways;

With endless longings in the darkness of the nights,

Waiting for you, my heart burns and aches.
