The Light We Carry

In this beautiful journey beneath the endless sky,
We meet many souls as the moments pass by.
Some bring us comfort, some bring us pain,
Some arrive like sunshine, some like rain.

Some hearts are candles in the silence of night,
Burning with love just to offer their light.
They give their warmth though their flame grows small,
Asking for nothing, expecting nothing at all.

Some souls are clouds that travel above,
Carrying kindness, compassion, and love.
They pour down blessings on the earth below,
Helping lost dreams and tired hearts grow.

And some are like fireflies dancing in the dark,
Carrying within them a beautiful spark.
They do not need stars to prove they shine,
Their little glow makes the night divine.

A firefly does not compete with the sun,
It shines because shining is what it has begun.
A gentle reminder through the silent night,
Even a small soul can create light.

But some hearts are black holes in space,
Taking our love without leaving a trace.
They hold our kindness, our time, our care,
