Your Fragrance

The scent of your skin, so soft and mild,

Like  sunshine on a sleeping child.

It drifts and dances, light and free,

A whisper carried on the breeze to me.

No fancy flowers, no spiced array,

Just you, and all you are today.

A simple sweetness, warm and deep,

A promise that I long to keep.

It fills my heart with pure delight,

A gentle spark in silent night.

And in its glow, I find my way,

Through shadows that may come our way.

Your fragrance, more than just a smell,

A story only love can tell.

A memory I hold so tight,

A beacon shining in the night.

So let this scent forever stay,

A tender gift, come what may.

For in your presence, I am whole,

Your fragrance lives within my soul.
