Reflections of Bug Life
Quiet in woods, I watch fireflies glow with hope,
Their tiny lights ignite the dark within my soul.
The bees hum low, their warmth spreads through my heart’s scope,
A gentle reminder that love makes me whole.
A wasp will sting when anger wounds my tender core,
Its bitter sting a lesson I must heed.
Ladybugs crawl slow, their touch can soothe and restore,
Healing wounds I didn’t know I’d bleed.
Moths circle dark, drawn to obsessions I can't shed,
Their restless dance reflects my own desire.
Ants march in lines, building trust where fears have fled,
Together, I find strength in their quiet fire.
Beetles shine firm, like the strength I hold within,
A steadfast force that anchors me in place.
Mosquitoes bite silent, resentment hidden thin,
Poisoning peace I long to embrace.
Butterflies drift near, then vanish when I reach,
A fleeting beauty I chase in vain.
Hornets roar loud, ambition out of reach,
Echoes of dreams I strive to attain.
Grasshoppers leap free, untouched by duty’s weight,
Reminding me to leap beyond my fears.
Flies buzz near faces, testing patience innate,
Challenging my calm through fleeting years.
Fireflies glow slow, whispering to wait and trust,
Their gentle light guides my wandering mind.
Crickets chirp at night, small voices I must discuss,
Echoes of wisdom I seek to find.
Spiders watch in stillness, their webs reflect my years,
A silent lesson woven through my days.
Some drift through life, carried by unseen spheres,
While others shine, guiding through the haze.
Some appear brief, a word or smile that warms my soul,
Shadows pass along walls of my mind.
Petals hold the steps of those who pause and console,
Reminding me to be gentle and kind.
Beetles carry weight, nurturing earth and kin,
Their steady labor mirrors my own.
Butterflies teach me that patience waits within,
Beauty blooms when I’ve truly grown.
Crickets remind me that small deeds ripple wide,
Their voices echo through the night’s vast span.
All lives in puddles reflect a mirrored tide-
A world that’s part of me, and I of man.
Every glow, every sting, each choice I’ve made,
Shapes the person I am becoming.
They look like you-each soul a mirror displayed,
Reflecting love’s endless, sacred joining.
See every life as fragile, strong, and bright,
Empathy can heal the scars we hide.
In every mirrored gaze, I find the light-
A world of care, with love as our guide.
