Silent Yearning

In quiet moments, shadows fall,

A gentle ache within my soul,

A whispered call I can't ignore,

A longing that I crave for more.  


I feel remembrance soft and near,

A ghost of love so true, so clear,

Waiting patiently within my heart,

For you to come and never part.  


A thirst that burns inside my core,

A craving for love I can't ignore,

An endless ache, a silent plea,

To hold you close and set me free.  


A gentle whisper in my mind,

Like morning mist I seek to find,

A quiet flame that makes me whole,

Love’s soft murmur in my soul.  


A silent yearning deep inside,

Like roots that in my heart reside,

A tiny spark that softly gleams,

A hope alive in my dreams.  


Your eyes speak in words so sweet,

Like stars that shine when night and silence meet,

Memories stretch far and wide,

Even in solitude, love’s my guide.  


I believe we are one with all,

Seasons change, suns may blaze,

But my true love forever stays.
