Sandalwood Dreams

Sleep now, my little fawn so dear,

Sandalwood waters cool and clear.

Autumn night hums low and mild,

Moonlight rocks my sleeping child.

Hush now, breeze, go drifting by,

Carry my love where dreams lie.

If she stirs and opens her door,

Tell her my heart forevermore.

Beneath the veil of night’s gentle grace,

Dreams bloom softly in their space.

Tomorrow’s promise, shining bright,

Awaits you with the morning light.

In every breath, a hope reborn,

A song of life, both tender and worn.

Hold these moments, pure and bright,

Guided always by love’s gentle light.

Close your eyes, no fears, no pain,

All my longings rest again.

In my arms the night will stay,

Love will guard you till the day.

Sleep, my dear, the stars will keep

Gentle watch while you sleep.

Rest in calm, in silver light,

Wrapped in love-good night, good night.
