The Unfettered Path
The Unfettered Path
The path is chosen, clear and bold,
A story finished, to be told.
If steps decide to turn away,
Don't linger where you cannot stay.
No lingering touch, no backward glance,
No whispered "if," no second chance
To tether spirit, hold the chain,
And welcome old, familiar pain.
For freedom waits in open air,
Beyond the doubt, beyond the care
Of what was lost, or left behind—
A future only you can find.
So if you leave, then truly go,
Let current flow, let new seeds grow.
Unclench the hand, release the hold,
And let your purpose then unfold.
In tangled roots and withered vine,
No blossom grows, no light can shine.
But in the fertile soil of choice,
A thousand flowers find their voice.
The echoes of what used to be
Are whispers fading in the sea
Of memory’s gentle, drifting tide—
A call to leave the past behind.
When hearts diverge, and paths divide,
Let quiet grace become your guide.
No phantom touch, no lingering plea,
Just honest truth, to set you free.
For every bond that finds its close,
A deeper inner freedom grows.
This silent wisdom, deep and true,
Belongs to all, in all we do.
For nations too, when old wounds cease,
Can find their common ground and peace.
To shed the past, its bitter hold,
A future brighter can unfold.
Take one more step, embrace the sky,
Let fear dissolve, let questions fly.
Each breath, each dawn, each fleeting day,
A chance to craft a brand new way.
The path is waiting, wide and clear,
Beyond the weight of doubt and fear.
So trust the wind, release the chain—
And find your freedom on life’s broad domain.
