The Resounding Call: Bharath's Eternal Flame
The Resounding Call: Bharath’s Eternal Flame
The Flame of Ancients
From Bharath’s soil, where sages trod,
Where dharma stood, upheld by God,
A call resounds through time and strife—
Of honor, courage, sacred life.
Think of Arjuna, calm and true,
On Kurukshetra, saw it through.
Against his kin, he took his stand,
For duty's call, for Dharma’s land.
Raja Dahir of Sind stood tall,
Though odds were bleak, he would not fall.
And Bappa Rawal’s fearless blade,
In Mewar’s hills, a stand he made.
Lalitaditya’s northern might,
Drove back the dark, brought forth the light.
And Prithviraj, with lion’s cry,
Fought for his land, prepared to die.
Builders of Empire, Hearts of Flame
Rana Kumbha, strong and wise,
Raised forts that pierced the desert skies.
Krishnadevaraya, southern star,
Lit Vijayanagara from afar.
Pulakeshin of Chalukya pride,
Stemmed northern tides that dared to ride.
Raja Raja Chola crossed the seas,
His ships commanding ocean’s breeze.
Rajendra Chola, bold, immense,
Brought kingdoms down with strong defense.
Marthanda Varma, sharp and grand,
At Colachel, he made his stand.
Through Deccan dust and coastal shore,
Their legacies live evermore.
Rise of Freedom’s Fire
Then Shivaji, of mountain might,
A rebel flame in darkest night.
With daring moves and tactics wise,
He birthed a kingdom 'neath the skies.
Rani Lakshmi, fire untamed,
With sword she rode, her glory named.
She faced the tide, her voice a cry—
"For Bharat’s freedom, let me die!"
Then Bhagat Singh, a thunder's sound,
With Rajguru and Sukhdev bound.
Their youthful blood in silence spoke,
And shattered every foreign yoke.
From Jallianwala’s hallowed floor,
To "Quit India’s" freedom roar—
The martyrs fell, yet rose in name,
To kindle liberty's bright flame.
Warriors of the Republic
From mountain pass to burning sand,
The modern soldier took his stand.
In ‘47, a pledge was sworn—
To guard the dream our past had borne.
Major Somnath—first to fall,
Unflinching stood through battle’s call.
In ‘65, brave Abdul Hamid struck,
With single aim and fearless pluck.
Sekhon soared through ‘71’s skies,
Where freedom fought and valor flies.
Khetarpal, a tank’s last breath,
Turned fire to triumph in the face of death.
Then Kargil's heights, where angels tread,
And heroes climbed where others fled.
Captain Batra, bold and brave—
"Yeh Dil Maange More!" he gave.
Yogendra Yadav, stone by stone,
Scored victory, but not alone.
Sanjay Kumar, fierce and free,
Etched his name in history.
Our Eternal Shield
To the Army: Guardians of the Earth
On glacier ridge, on border line,
You stand so we may rest and dine.
The echo of our ancient pride—
Shivaji’s spark and Prithvi’s stride.
No fear you show, no fate you flee,
Your honor forged in bravery.
The blood of martyrs in your veins,
The shield of Bharat still remains.
To the Air Force: Sentinels of the Sky
Above the clouds where thunder roars,
You guard our peace, you chase the wars.
From Sekhon's dive to supersonic flight,
You pierce the dark, you bring the light.
You are the falcon, fierce and fast,
With freedom’s colors in your mast.
Across the sky, your engines scream—
For Bharat's safety, and her dream.
To the Navy: Lords of the Ocean’s Roar
Where ocean sings its ancient hymn,
You sail through storm and twilight grim.
With radar’s watch and cannon’s fire,
You douse the threat, you lift us higher.
From Chola seas to modern tide,
Your silent courage swells with pride.
You are the wave, the unseen wall,
That guards our coasts from every squall.
So rise, O youth, O India’s son,
The task is great, yet never done.
The torch you hold was passed in flame—
By those who dared, who earned a name.
From ancient dust to futures wide,
You carry Bharat’s strength with pride.
Let shadows fall, let villains plot—
But your resolve—they conquer not.
For in your heart, the echoes stay,
Of heroes’ blood that lights the way.
So stand, unshaken, proud and free—
The sword and soul of liberty.
The Eternal Flame
This is the call, the sacred cry—
To guard her truth, to never die.
In every step, a nation's grace,
In every soul, her fearless face.
Raise high her flag, let drums be heard—
Let courage speak in every word.
The world shall know, the stars proclaim:
Bharath still burns with Freedom’s flame.
