The Bumblebee's Saharan Saga: A Tale of Kerala's Heart
From Kerala's green, where emerald fronds we see,
And Sahya’s peaks embrace the endless sky with glee,
A bumblebee, with fuzz of velvet deep and small,
Set forth with purpose—bravely standing tall.
It kissed farewell to jackfruit’s honeyed sphere,
To spice-filled breezes, casting off all fear.
Across the waves where salty winds do blow,
It ventured forth, with steady wings and glow.
Past shores of ancient lands where legends sleep,
Across the waves, where breezes moan and sweep.
Then desert scents—dry, bitter, raw, and bare—
Rose on the wind and cleansed the stifling air.
No compass guide, but instinct’s gentle hum,
“Find life,” it urged, “through all that may become.”
Then shimmering haze appeared upon the sand—
An emerald tear upon the barren land!
An oasis bloomed, a whispering, verdant grace,
Where date palms stood in time’s enduring space.
And golden nectar, thick and slow and sweet,
Awaited there for weary, humbled feet.
It buzzed with joy—a symphony so light,
A victor’s song beneath the desert light.
Like bees that know the bloom’s alluring face,
It pressed through thorns with focused, fearless grace.
This desert wanderer kept onward too,
Though shadows danced on dunes of burning hue.
A heart unwavering, a tale to unfold,
In search of nectar more than silk or gold.
For life’s true sweetness—far or near—
Demands a spirit that casts off all fear.
From verdant shores to lands of burning breath,
This bumblebee defied the touch of death.
A testament to journeys we embrace,
To find our sweetness in a barren place.
Though shadows loom and darkness calls,
The heart’s true aim will conquer all.
The beetle and the bee, both small and meek,
Reveal the strength and hope that we all seek.
To press through pain, with dreams held tight,
And find the bloom that turns our dark to light.
