RestRoom Run

Restroom Run (Duet Edition)"

Verse 1 (Girl):
It started as a perfect date,
Strolling hand in hand, feelin’ great.
Ice cream cones and city lights,
But now I’m facing bathroom fights.
My legs are crossed, I’m breaking a sweat,
He’s drunk and humming a song he forgets.
I beg, “Please help me find a door!”
He grins, then throws up on the floor.

Chorus (Boyfriend – slurred and slow):
Whaaat’s the rush, babe? Let’s take it slooow…
Ain’t the moonlight got a pretty glow?
Hold my drink, or hold my hand?
Wait—why you runnin’? I don’t understand…

Verse 2 (Girl):
“Stay with me!” I plead in vain,
But he’s spinning like a weather vane.
He thinks the bench is where we dance,
While I just need clean underpants.
No restroom sign, no mercy near,
My eyes are wide, I’m full of fear.
This isn’t love, it’s toilet doom,
And I’m the star of a bathroom cartoon.

Chorus (Boyfriend – dreamy):
You’re the queen of my taco heart,
But why we rushin’ like Mario Kart?
Sit with me, the ground feels fine…
Oops, I think I spilled some wine…

Verse 3 (Girl):
I dash ahead, he stumbles back,
He’s talking to a parking rack.
My phone’s at 2%, no map to guide,
I swear my bladder just replied.
He texts me gifs, I roll my eyes,
This ain’t the time for heart-shaped lies.
I spot a door with hope inside—
But it’s locked up with a CLOSED sign.

Chorus (Both – overlapping):
Girl: I need the bathroom, not romance dreams—
Boy: You’re glowing like them bathroom beams…
Girl: Stop texting memes, I’m not amused!
Boy: Did I ever tell you you’re bathroom-cute?

Verse 4 (Girl):
I finally burst through a diner wall,
Ignore the stares, ignore the call.
The waiter gasps, the hostess flinches,
I’m past the point of holding inches.
Sweet success, I made the run,
My boyfriend’s outside, still thinkin’ it’s fun.
Next time we drink, here’s the rule:
One sober driver. And restroom tools.

Final Chorus (Both – big finish):
Girl: If love is real, then hear me now,
Boy: I’ll find the bathroom, I swear… somehow.
Both: Through drunken nights and bladder screams,
We’ll survive with slightly broken dreams.
