My Dawn, My Dusk

 Wherever you are, my dear,

I hope your skies are bright,

For knowing you are safe and well

Fills my heart with gentle light.

In quiet moments, I hear your name,

A whisper drifting on the breeze,

A flicker in my soul’s soft flame

That sets my restless heart at ease.


Though you have gone far from me

And seasons turn and fade away,

Your presence lingers in my heart

Every night and every day.

Miles may stretch like endless skies,

Yet your memory remains my guide,

A beacon shining through the dark,

Forever walking by my side.


Not a single dawn arrives

Without a thought of you,

A silent echo in my eyes,

A love both constant and true.

So till we meet again someday,

Know my heart will never stray-

For even after time moves on,

You are my dawn, my dusk, my every day.

  I walk through fields where glowing screens bear gold, As honey flowers opening at dusk. Their amber petals shimmer in my eyes, And call my name with sweet electric light. Around their blooms the restless thousands drift, Like bees enchanted by a scented wind. They gather close to taste the golden dew, Then rise and leave when newer flowers bloom. I drink the praise that gathers on the bloom, And wear the crown of momentary spring. The world appears as bright as morning glass, Reflecting dreams in every passing face. For fame can feel like love when it arrives. It speaks in numbers, whispers, hearts, and praise. It wraps itself around our wounded lives, And warms the lonely corners of our days. Beneath a sky brushed soft with rain, Rolls the red bus through hill and plain. KSRTC— not just a ride, But a moving canvas, countryside-wide. Its engine hums like an old folk tune, Crooning through dawns and drowsy noons. It weaves a tale on asphalt threads, Of spice-scented hills and lotus beds. A silver flash where rivers gleam, A whispered prayer, a waking dream. Yet not always swift, nor perfectly true, Its journey often pauses, for me and for you. From its classic crimson, bold and bright, To newer blues that gleam in light. It starts where temples bless the air, Where  Padmanabha  rests in prayer.
