A New Dawn

A new dawn awakens, whispering softly near,

Sunlight caresses the sky, dissolving all fear.

Within my heart blooms a love pure and clear 

A silent promise, steadfast and sincere.


I chase your shadow in the breeze’s gentle play,

Through every whisper of the wind’s sweet sway.

Your presence lingers, like dawn after night’s decay,

Guiding my soul along love’s endless way.


Your name in my soul forever shall stay,

A melody that time can never fray.

In every breath, in every heartbeat’s sway,

Your love is my dawn, my eternal day.


Through countless days and starry nights I’ve dreamed,

Loving you deeply  more than ever seemed.

Like leaves that dance in spring’s renewed gleam,

My love for you flows  an endless stream.


I wait for mornings that have yet to begin,

Anticipating the joy that stirs within.

In your name, my life finds its rhythm and spin

My feelings rise, then fall apart- So who am I, deep in my heart? *** I stopped and sat in silence there, And looked inside with simple care. I saw my thoughts just come and go, Like clouds that drift, then leave the sky slow. *** Then I asked, “Who sees all this?” In quiet calm, in gentle peace. No word came back, no shape, no name- Just silent light, always the same. *** Now I feel still, I feel free, I am not what appears to be.
